This Sherborne Leyburn riser recliner is available with three different motor types. It can have Single motor, Dual motor or Triple Motor Cloud Comfort actions inside as well as being made in different sizes being Petite,
Small, Standard & Royale. This means that finding the best comfort for almost any body shape is much easier.
Single motor riser recliners offer a full reclining position along the ability to lift the user to their feet. With a dual motor version there is the advantage that the footplate can be controlled separately to the back of
the recliner offering more positions to relax in, dual motor recliners therefore have more buttons on the handset. The triple
motor version is the same as dual motor but with Sherborne Cloud Comfort tilting
seat function included.
The handset to control these riser recliners comes out from a pocket on the side of the chair to the users right hand, but if you prefer to work the recliner with the handset in your left hand then this can be arranged if you tell us when you place the order.
The Leyburn offers excellent back & head support due to three horizontal cushion sections which are fibre filled. Combined with the chaise seating and foam filled pillow arms, it offers the best of all round comfort. Additionally, there is the option to add an adjustable lumbar area and also an adjustable tilting head rest, which can offer more or less support as required. Both these functions are simply controlled with extra buttons on the handset.
There is a choice of either castors or glides on the recliner, the
castors are more suited to a carpeted floor whereas we would suggest
glides on a wooden or hard floor. When the recliner is moved to the
rising positions there is a firm metal framework that comes down and
stops the recliner rolling at all. This chair can be upholstered in the full range of Sherborne fabrics &
leathers.
The Single motor version also
allows the full reclined position to be reached from a starting position
only approximately 20cm (8") from the wall. The Dual & Triple motor version
would require a little more space to fully recline.
