This is the Sherborne Roma 2 Seater Small Rechargeable Powered Reclining Settee and is available to be ordered in a wide choice of different colours. It comes in two halves and is then joined together in the room to make one complete sofa. Each side of the sofa reclines independently from the other side by means of a button on the outside of the arm. Simply press the button and the footplate will come up from the front of the sofa to lift the users legs, release pressure on the button and the footplate will stop and hold that position. To further recline press the same button again and the back will lower as required. To return to sitting just press and hold the opposite button and the action simply reverses. The beauty of a powered recliner sofa is that whenever you stop the movement of the mechanism the settee will hold in that position, so there is a near infinite number of positions to relax in.
The footplate and seat are as one with a full length chaise so that there is no gap between the two, and this sofa also features fully cushioned arms and a supportive head roll. A great piece of upholstery for any home from Sherborne.
All Roma powered recliner sofas and recliner chairs are also available with powered adjustable headrest which is controlled from the switches on the outside of the arm.
